Letting your property with Birmingham Housing

Here at Birmingham Housing, we pride ourselves with offering professional and efficient letting service for local landlords. Using the best property portals and social media, we make sure that tenants can easily find your properties.

Prospective tenants must view the property before we invite them to fill and submit an online application.

All properties are available for minimum six months subject to suitable references.

Prospective tenants must provide detailed five years addresses and employment history. Providing a guarantor is optional but as a letting agent, we shortlist only applications with a guarantor.

Prospective tenants must provide their credit information and whether they have any unpaid loans or recent bankruptcy.

If a tenant is not a British national, they must provide a share code from UK Gov website.

These are the documents, they have to attach to their application:

  • Photographic ID, such as passport or driving licence. -Two most recent monthly Bank Statements - not screenshots.
  • Proof of income, such as two months’ pay slips, copies of accounts, end of year accounts.
  • Proof of benefits (If applicable)
  • Proof of residency, such as utility bill or council tax statement from the last three months.
